Copper is the go-to metal for a build of this quality—luxurious, beautiful, heavy-weight, and yet soft. Therefore, the thickened metal fabrication is essential.

• Extreme Heft and Thickness: Weighing 210g (almost half a pound), the case is extremely thick and heavy. It is CNC machined from a single hunk of metal, providing considerable heft. This is not a plated product.

• Vintage & Comfort: The retro design with rounded corners is comfortable to carry and gives the lighter a vintage-like appearance. The polished smooth finish slides easily in and out of the pocket.

SECTION 2: CUSTOM INSERT MODIFICATIONS AND ANTI-EVAPORATION

Are you tired of constantly refilling your kerosene lighter? Sick of buying expensive lighter fluid just to have most of it evaporate? Or experiencing the embarrassment of your lighter not lighting when you need it? These customized inserts are the solution. Each is gutted, completely disassembled, and skillfully rebuilt by hand using all new upgraded components, then custom fit to its case.

MODIFICATIONS, FEATURES, AND BENEFITS

• Fuel-Saver Wadding: Packed with pure Mongolian Camel Hair wadding. Its ultra-fine, hollow fibers absorb 33% more fluid than cotton and hold it in with a much slower evaporation rate. 

• Consistent Flame: Consistently delivers a smooth burn and a strong flame that doesn't flicker, right up until it runs completely dry. (Tip: Keep it topped off to avoid burning the wick.)

• Proprietary Wick: An enhanced Baby Camel Hair Core Wick featuring a pure cotton and copper wire woven sheath is used. This proprietary, synthetic-free, renewable resource blend ensures maximum fuel absorption and delivery, ignites easily, and burns with a large and steady flame. With 6 inches of wick inside, proper maintenance ensures it lasts a very long time.

• Evaporation Mitigation: A metal bottom plate is sealed with rubber gaskets to further mitigate evaporation. It includes a spring-loaded fuel filling port and a place for storing extra flint. 

• Guaranteed Spark: A soft flint reduces wear and creates a huge spark that lights with every strike. It is extra long for more time between change-outs.

• Smooth Strike: A high ignition grinding wheel with an aggressive, toothed design surrounds a brass bushing. This bushing allows a slight anti-jamming wobble for a smooth striking action. (Not available on regular snuffer inserts.)

• The Iconic "Clink": Installed is a period-dated, powerful humped back cam spring. The lid flings open with noticeable force, closes with authority, and keeps the lid closed tightly, allowing less gas to escape. (Not available on regular snuffer inserts.)

• Vintage Look: Assembled using hollow wheel rivets that match the metal and a stainless steel pendulum to strengthen the cam and prevent rust.
